Throughout his 22 years of distinguished service in the United States Army, Dan occupied several key positions, including:

- Field Artilleryman
- Army Recruiter
- Equal Opportunity Advisor
- Operations Sergeant
- First Sergeant for the 18th Field Artillery Brigade
- Senior Military Science Instructor for ROTC Cadets at the University of Idaho

Following his retirement from the Army, Dan's expertise and experience became invaluable to a prominent transportation company, where he currently imparts leadership training to new managers and leaders.

Dan now resides in South Carolina.

Dan is a certified Life Coach from the Life Coach Training Institute.
